Banana Leaf
It seems everywhere I look lately I see a banana leaf. Whether it's in design, fashion, or accessories, it is taking over! The iconic wallpaper was created especially for The Beverly Hills Hotel back in 1942. The "Pink Palace" as it's referred to still has the wallpaper up in The Fountain Coffee Room. When the pattern is used in a bright interior it feels so California. By upping the brightness of the leaves and adding bright colors, it feels so preppy and very Lilly Pulitzer. I know Mother, you wish I wore Lilly.
