Music Keeps Me Spirited: Every Picture Tells a Story
There is something about a photo that can either evoke a feeling or take you back to an exact moment. It's wonderful how just looking at one photo can just swell the heart. So my blog post today is all about Rod Stewart's song "Every Picture Tells a Story" because it's just so so true. It's all about oversized, giant photos in the home.
I think having supersized photos of your children in the playroom would be so fun. Whether it's a photo of them jumping in a pond, on a beach, or just an expression it will evoke a response from anyone who enters the room. But I'm sure who will enjoy the photo the most will be the child or children in the photo. You know how children are, they can't stop looking at pictures or videos of them on your phone. So imagine that magnified!
A safe way to achieve this, especially if you're concerned about the colors in the photo that you want to have blown up is to make the picture black and white. Not to mention, I feel like black and white has such a realness to it. There's such honesty to a monochromatic photo of a person.
So you don't have kids? No fret, either steal one of your friends kids to take their picture or put a gigantic photo of a horse in your home. I don't think you have to be a huge horse lover to even have a large photo of one in your home. There's something innocent and American about a horse.
Horses aren't your thing? Any cute animal will work.
Of course, if you can't pick just one photo, why not pick all your favorites?!!
And of course I'm always trying to get people to love music as much as me, or to try a different style of music, so I've included two Rod Stewart videos. And for a great laugh you have to watch Rod's carpool karaoke with The Late Late Show's James Corden.
Thanks so much for reading!
