Lacquered Walls

Need more light, reflection, drama, and high glamour in your home?  Start thinking about lacquering a room.  By having lacquered walls you are adding yet another layer to your space.  An important note on lacquering walls though, DON'T DO IT YOURSELF!!!!  Trust me, if you try and do this it will just look like a massive Pinterest fail.  There must be a lot of prep work as the higher the sheen of paint you have, the more it shows your wall imperfections.

I'm obsessed with the following room.  The paint color is perfect, it's a black but with a purplely blue undertone to it pulling out the purple sofa.  The wood chest pops off the black only accentuating it more.  I also love the bright gold throughout the space, the finish pops off the walls.
