Graffiti
Ever since I wrote about the Novogratz castle and their construction party I can't stop thinking about graffiti for the home. Obviously to have graffiti in your home you probably will have a more modern aesthetic but I think it could be so fun in a kids' room or playroom. Let's be honest, kids are LOUD and out there so their spaces can handle loud and out there.
UPHOLSTERY
A few years ago a girl I went to high school with posted a photo on Facebook of this french style chair upholstered in a white fabric that now had beautiful scribbles from her young daughter on it. Clearly the girl thought the chair was quite boring just being plain white. All I could think about is how she should just run with it and make that chair a true piece of art by adding more scribbles. Hell, make it a guest book of sorts. Anything you do would surely be a conversation piece and something that means a lot to you.
Note the traditional lines of the furniture and rugs. This can be pulled off for all you super traditional people.......mother (she's chuckling and saying "uh no" as she reads this I'm sure
kinda obsessed with this artist
note the juxtaposition of the traditional lines of the chair with the pink fabric and writing.....yet it works!
IMAGINE IF YOU HAD A MONOCHROMATIC white LIVING ROOM YET THRew THIS IN. PUT SOME AGED BRASS SCONCES UP, OH THAT COULD BE SOMETHING SPECIAL
CASEGOODS
When you graffiti a chest it doesn't have to cost a lot. You can get an old piece that has great lines, put a base coat on the piece and go to town with graffiti for little expense other than paint.
old chests, yet they come alive painted like this
this would be so fun in a tween girls room
ACCESSORIES
I love the colors of this!

Is a piano an accessory? To me it is, It would just sit there and look pretty. I have absolutely no clue how to play one. All i can think of is chris martin of Coldplay when i see this

WHERE IT ALL STARTED
As you probably know, graffiti was started outside on walls and trains to mainly just "tag" yourself. A way to reach so many people just passing by. How can you look at the following images and not be in just utter awe? Am I right?
breathtaking
This would be so great in a classroom for all you teachers
Thanks so much for reading!
