Valentine's Day 2016

This Valentine's Day has me thinking about all my single lady friends.  I get to hear about all the crazy men and the dates they go on.  I'm sure it can get tiring looking for Mr. Right.  As one of my friends recently said, "if I didn't need a man to procreate, I'd stop dating."  Who says you need a significant other to celebrate Valentine's Day. So gather up your best girlfriends and celebrate your great friendship and love for each other.

I've gathered a few photos to inspire you to throw the best shin dig for your friends closest to your heart.

I love the vibrant mix of hot pink and red.  This would look great on a lot of different body types also.  Via glamour

To continue the pink and blush theme a few decor shots to inspire you.  Just remember though, it's not about the decor or what you're wearing, but the memories made that night.

When you have your soiree, a fun game to play that I came up with would be a version of Cards Against Humanity.  Have everyone, including your friends who are married or have significant others, write awful things that have happened to them while dating a past boyfriend.  I'm sure everyone has one or two crazy things that have happened to them.  Put it in a balloon, blow it up, then take turns popping the balloon, and take a guess as to who the crazy thing happened.  I'm sure it will lead to lots of laughs.

Then I'm seeing something like the following take place for all the single ladies.  Scene from the movie Valentine's Day.

I hope no matter what kind of relationship you're in, married, single, it's complicated, just be good to yourself.  You deserve it!

Thanks for reading!
